Inspiring Tidbit from St. Paul

I’m still catching up with everything so I wasn’t going to post this morning. But as I have gotten back into every day life, I’ve been struck by how important it is to my spiritual life and my life as a writer to pay attention to: what I’m thinking about, and how I’m thinking about it–my perspective.    Maybe this tidbit from Saint Paul can inspire us to sanctify our thoughts this week:

Finally, beloved, whatever is true,
whatever is honorable, whatever is just,
whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing,
whatever is commendable,
if there is any excellence
and if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things.
(Philippians 4:8)
