Catholic Tour Apps from Pauline Books & Media

Boston WCVB’s Chronicle visited us recently to find out about our latest apps. They were especially interested in one of my new favorites, Catholic Tour Apps: Boston, which highlights the Catholic sites to visit in Boston. Washington is also available; New York and Baltimore will be coming soon!

For the Catholic tourist who appreciates places of Catholic interest that aren’t marked on maps or mentioned by tour guides. Whether you’re visiting a city far from your home, making a business trip or family outing, or just exploring the city in which you live, Catholic Tour Apps is your guide to the hidden places of interest that help you know your history as an American Catholic and claim your Catholic culture.

They might feature some of our other apps that offer spiritual resources for daily living–like our Stations of the Cross: Walk with Me app (a really beautiful Way of the Cross for Lent or Fridays throughout the year), and Creating Abundance app, which helps people to meditate on God’s providential plan for us.

If you have a chance, watch the show on Wednesday, March 19th at 7:30 PM — Channel 5 WCVB Boston–and see if you can catch a glimpse of the nuns. Here is Chronicle’s write-up of the show:

Wednesday, March 19: There’s an App for That!
You’re in a restaurant enjoying a fine bottle of wine. Want to have it sent to your home? There’s an app for that. You’re facing a stressful time in your life. Want some spiritual support? There’s an app for that, too. In fact, developers are filling up smart phones with neat apps that make life easier and more entertaining, some of them locally made, from a way to take the perfect selfie to a do it yourself tour of Boston history to how to get a date on a Saturday night.
